Turnia Privacy Policy

Nothing. Nothing about you, nothing about how you use the app. There are no accounts, no sign-up and no analytics.

This is not a promise you have to take on trust: Turnia does not request Internet permission. You can check this in the app's entry in your phone's settings. Without that permission the app cannot send anything anywhere, even if it wanted to.

Your roster, your shifts and any rates you enter to work out your hours are stored in the app's private storage, on your phone. Neither we nor any other app can read them.

If you export a backup, the file goes wherever you tell the system picker to put it. From that point it is yours, and what happens to it depends on where you keep it.

Notifications and exact alarms: to wake you before your shift starts, at the time you set.

Full-screen intent: so the alarm appears over the lock screen and you can stop it without unlocking the phone.

Foreground service: so the alarm keeps ringing until you stop it, instead of cutting out when the screen goes off.

Vibration: so the alarm can also be felt.

Boot completed: to schedule your alarms again after you restart the phone. Without it, a restart would silently leave you with no alarms.

Turnia does not request your location, contacts, camera, microphone or files.

There are no ads in the app, and therefore no advertising identifiers and no profiling. There are no third-party measurement tools of any kind.

Uninstall the app. Nothing is left anywhere, because nothing ever left your phone. If you want to keep your roster first, export it from Settings.

Turnia is not directed at children under 13, and collects no data from anyone of any age.

If the app ever starts collecting data — for instance if advertising were added — this policy will be updated before that version is published, and the date above will say so.
